Battle Chasers #10 | A Comprehensive Review

I am very excited to review Battle Chasers #10, the latest issue of the long-awaited comic book series by Joe Madureira. Madureira is one of the most influential comic book artists of all time, and his distinctive style has had a major impact on the industry. His work on Battle Chasers helped to define the “Joe Mad” aesthetic, which is characterized by its dynamic action sequences, stylized characters, and vibrant colors.

The Characters

Gully is the main character of Battle Chasers. She is a young girl who is determined to find her missing father. Gully is strong-willed and independent, and she is not afraid to stand up for herself. She is also a skilled fighter, and she is able to hold her own against even the most powerful enemies.

Garrison is a barbarian who is Gully’s first companion. Garrison is a large and imposing figure, but he is also kind and gentle. He is a skilled warrior, and he is fiercely protective of Gully.

Calibretto is a golem who is Gully’s second companion. Calibretto is a powerful weapon, and he is able to unleash devastating attacks on his enemies. He is also a wise and compassionate creature, and he provides Gully with much-needed guidance.

Knolan is a wizard who is Gully’s third companion. Knolan is a powerful spellcaster, and he is able to cast a variety of spells. He is also a wise and knowledgeable individual, and he provides Gully with much-needed information.

Red Monika was born into a life of crime. Her parents were both outlaws, and she learned to fight and steal at a young age. She quickly became one of the most feared outlaws in the land. Red Monika has a long-standing rivalry with Garrison. The two of them have been enemies for years, but they also have a grudging respect for each other. Red Monika is also close friends with Knolan. The two of them share a love of adventure and a thirst for knowledge.

The World of Battle Chasers

The world of Battle Chasers is a fantasy world that is full of danger and adventure. The world is populated by a variety of creatures, including humans, elves, dwarves, and orcs. The world is also home to a variety of magical creatures, such as dragons, demons, and elementals.

The world of Battle Chasers is a dangerous place, but it is also a place of great beauty. The world is filled with lush forests, towering mountains, and sparkling oceans. The world is also home to a variety of cultures, each with its own unique customs and traditions.

The Story So Far

The story begins with Gully, a young girl who lives in the village of Arion. Gully’s father, Aramus, is a powerful sorcerer who is known for his mastery of the elements. One day, Aramus is attacked by a group of unknown assailants. Gully witnesses the attack, but she is unable to stop it. Aramus is presumed dead, and Gully is left to fend for herself.

Gully decides to set out on a quest to find her father. She travels to the city of Halcyon, where she meets Garrison, a barbarian who is also searching for his missing father. Garrison agrees to help Gully on her quest, and they set off together.

Along the way, Gully and Garrison are joined by Calibretto, a golem who was once a powerful warrior. Calibretto is now a prisoner of the sorcerer Malkil, who is using Calibretto’s power to fuel his own dark magic. Gully, Garrison, and Calibretto must defeat Malkil and free Calibretto from his control.

The group also encounters Knolan, a wizard who is searching for a powerful artifact known as the Eye of Arion. The Eye of Arion is said to have the power to control the elements, and Knolan believes that it can be used to stop Malkil. Gully, Garrison, Calibretto, and Knolan join forces to find the Eye of Arion and stop Malkil from unleashing his dark magic on the world.

The first nine issues of Battle Chasers are full of action, adventure, and humor. The series also explores themes of loss, family, and friendship.

This Issue

Battle Chasers #10 picks up where the previous issue left off, with Red Monika and Garrison on the run from a group of bounty hunters known as the Martial Paladins. The issue is full of exciting action scenes, as the two heroes are forced to use all of their skills and abilities to stay alive.

Gully still rattled by a possible imposter claiming to be her brother. She struggles with trying to learn the truth. Which results into a question of who now owns her fathers gauntlets (the most powerful weapon in the land).

The story pacing is fast and frantic accented with the amazing artwork of Lido Lullabi. Lido has a great sense of display the story in a way that makes the action come off the pages.

This is a great comeback to a story that was a complete joy to read decades ago. There is no warm up as we are jettisoned right into the action right where we left off. I was immediately hooked back into the story and patiently waiting for the next issue to see the rest of the story unfold.

Fan or no fan of Joe Mad, this is a great read that will have you wanting more at the end. What’s going to happen to Gully? Will Red Monika and Garrison escape the Martial Paladins? I’m here for it, and can’t wait to find out.
